I expect to never finish either of them, or for them to be of interest to many folks if any at all. My most recent book is about my dad, Charlie Thomas. I have titled it "A Man's Man". For those that knew him well, there is no need to explain the title. If you have stories about Charlie you would like to share, let me know. I will credit you if I ever do anything with the book. CLICK HERE The other book is just a bunch of thoughts that I have had over the years. I originally thought I would title it "Musings of Pete". I have recently been in conversations on a new facebook thread titled "You know you grew up in Cimarron, Ks when...". On that site there are many younger people, mostly 50's and younger, that are visiting about old times in Cimarron. I have found that many of those younger ones are interested in memories before they were in school, or were too young to be aware were happening. It is also a great place to put your thoughts in writing and get comments on those thoughts from other members, as well as other readers. As such, I am starting Pete's University. It will be just a "bunch of stuff" and hopefully something to give people things to think about. Sorry, no diplomas. Please feel free to comment on any article. I am also accepting articles from guest professors. I am sure there are many present and former Cimarron folks that have thoughts they would like to have published on these pages.
